  • Next, I brew an extra hot vanilla latte that I genuinely enjoy. Taking 10-15 minutes to do something pleasurable like sipping my favorite coffee drink elevates my mood. Starting the day with an indulgence I look forward to increases my baseline happiness.
  • Finally, I sit down with my notebook to write out my top 10 goals. Putting them on paper reinforces my focus and gives me a sense of direction.

TIP: Try to go for a walk to do your affirmations. A spiral notebook and pen are all you need to #3.
